About – Frankies Wag N Walk

Hey! my name is Frankie,

I am the proud owner of Frankie’s Wag ‘N’ Walk.

Having always been a huge animal lover, I decided to take the plunge in 2020 and set up my very own dog walking business. After a tough start during the lockdown pandemic, I’m pleased to say the business is now growing, so much so that my partner Jordan now works alongside me as a valued employee.

We cover anything from dog walking , pet sitting , puppy walks , pop in visits ,to cat sitting and care of any other smaller pets.

We are based in Stafford; every day we get to spend time with lovely dogs, whilst taking in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside.

Come rain or shine, we are always ready for work, and it’s safe to say we’re absolutely loving it!

We have years of experience caring for our own pets, having both grown up with dogs always in our households.

Socialites

Our pooches, Tj, Toby and Maddox are sociable and sometimes come on walks with us too! We recently lost our beloved Golden Retriever, Ty, who was just 4 years old and passed suddenly without warning, which had a huge effect on us and our other dogs, who miss him every day.

Reason

Our determination and passion to make the business successful is in tribute to Ty, and to ensure that we can give Tj, Toby and Maddox the best life possible.

Frankie is dog First Aid Trained, so you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands and will be professionally looked after.

Frankie

I was 17 when I travelled to the UK with no English. I got my first job at a potato farm, which helped me develop communication and listening skills, and most of all learn how to speak English.
I can speak different languages: English,Polish,Slovak,Czech & Bulgarian.
I was working 7 years for one company, but as long as I can remember my love and passion was always with animals, especially with dogs.
My favourite part about my job is meeting all kind of dogs , cats or other small pets; it's always a surprise what do I get to meet next!

Jordan

I studied BTEC sports performance at college before going into full time work teaching children various sports across schools in Stafford.
I enjoyed playing football as a hobby until a bad injury and work commitments got in the way.
I grew up around dogs from a very young age and always loved and cared for them.
I quit my long term job to be with the love of my life and our 4 fur babies.

Happy Dogs, Happy Owners

We understand that not every dog is the same, just as us humans are individuals, so is your dog. We take the time to get to know your pooch and you can rest assured we always act safely and patiently when caring for your beloved friend.

We arrange meet and greets for all new clients, so that we can get to know you and your dog. We also do a trial walk so that we can see how your dog is on the lead, and if they’re reactive to any triggers, we can make sure we’re fully aware of these.

Most of the dogs that we walk are reactive, so we never walk the dogs in large packs. We prefer to take 2-3 dogs at a time, we find that walking the dogs in smaller groups really gives us the opportunity to give each dog the care and attention they require. We are confident and happy to work with various breeds and sizes.

We are particularly proud of the work we have done with various rescue dogs over the years. Owning a rescue dog is not always an easy journey, but can be hugely rewarding.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, with endurance and patience, we can help you to keep these dogs happy and healthy so they can enjoy their life.
